Hey guys! My names Emily and I am currently in my third year of college studying Kinesiology! I love going to the gym and training; it serves as an outlet for me as I’m sure it does for many of you. I would love to share this passion of mine with you all and hope to potentially open up the world of lifting for any of you who may be unexposed to it! When I first started going to the gym, I was intimidated by the weights section and stuck to my hours of cardio. I spent nearly 3 hours every day going between the elliptical machines to the treadmill to the stair master. I was far from happy until I opened up to weight training. I began reading articles and watching YouTube videos about how to properly perform certain exercises until I became comfortable enough to get in the gym and do it for real. It has been the best decision I have ever made for myself, and I know it’s not an easy thing to do for those of you hesitating, but I am here to help! I love helping people reach their goals and gaining the confidence they never thought they could have, it’s an amazing feeling. I was one of those girls that had zero confidence in myself and not only regarding working out, but educating myself about fitness and putting my all into the gym has helped me in so many ways, and I truly hope it does the same for you. 😀
