What can I do before the workout to get better?

That way, your body will feel energized enough to complete all the hardcore movements you are about to do. However, that doesn’t mean to eat a lot or to eat snacks with high calories. Just stick with some small healthy bites with high protein and provides good quality carbs.

Stretch! Stretch! Stretch! Stretching is proven to improve flexibility and prevent the shortening of muscle in the long run. Aside from that, eat some post workout snack that contains around 200 t0 300 calories depending on how intense your workout was. Maybe have a glass of milk or some smoothies for great protein and carbohydrates!
